Dreamwork Circle 1 Year Anniversary

Join a special dream incubation weekend

Dreamwork Circle is turning one this Saturday–coincidentally just as the planets Jupiter and Uranus are meeting in the sky to herald major collective and personal breakthroughs. To make the most of this potent time, I invite you to join me for a special workshop that will help you work with the energies of this important time creatively–for your growth and development.

The workshop happens over two days

Saturday 7-8pm: Dream incubation

We meet for one hour to learn about the process of dream incubation, reflect on the themes of this important conjunction, and set intentions. I will guide you through a ceremony to incubate your dream and prepare for sleep. A recording will be available for those who can’t attend live.

Sunday 4-6pm: Dream circle

We meet again to share and discuss our dreams in the group. This is an opportunity to get valuable insight into your dream from a supportive community and discover collective themes emerging at this time. What does your dream mean for you? How could you take it further?

I encourage you to attend both sessions if possible.

What is dream incubation

Dream incubation is an ancient practice where individuals consciously set intentions before sleep to influence the content and direction of their dreams. Its origins can be traced back thousands of years to civilizations such as the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and Mesopotamians. In these cultures, temples were often dedicated to dream incubation, and individuals seeking guidance or healing would sleep in these sacred spaces with the intention of receiving divine messages or insights through their dreams. The practice was also prevalent in other indigenous cultures around the world, where dreams were regarded as powerful sources of wisdom and guidance.

Today, dream incubation continues to be practiced in various forms, drawing on both ancient traditions and modern psychological techniques.By focusing on specific questions, themes, or goals before bedtime, we can create a fertile ground for our psyche to explore, discover insights, solutions, and receive creative inspiration.

This is the most important weekend of the year

If you’ve been feeling stuck or in need of new perspectives, this is the ideal time to ask for guidance. Jupiter and Uranus meet in the sky in conjunction every 14-or so years and they usually bring enormous changes in the collective that can be traced back historically. This is considered the most potent astrological event of the year–you don’t want to miss out on it.

In mythology, the conjunction of Jupiter (Zeus in Greek mythology) and Uranus (Ouranos) is a meeting of two powerful gods: each representing distinct aspects of the cosmic order and divine sovereignty. One the one hand, Jupiter embodies principles of authority, expansion, and wisdom. He is associated with thunder and lightning, wielding power over the heavens and earth. On the other hand, Uranus represents the primordial sky god in Greek mythology, associated with the vast expanse of the heavens and the creative forces of chaos and innovation. Uranus is the personification of the sky itself, the father of the Titans and the progenitor of cosmic change and evolution. He embodies the revolutionary spirit, challenging existing norms and instigating transformative change.

When Jupiter and Uranus meet in a conjunction, this symbolises a merging of these two archetypal energies: expansion and radical innovation. This celestial alignment encourages breakthroughs, sudden insights, and revolutionary shifts in consciousness, shaking the foundations of established order and paving the way for progress, evolution, and profound transformation on both individual and collective levels.

And if astrology is not your thing, you can still get a lot out of it. Collective dreaming events like this can be incredibly healing in themselves. This is an opportunity to learn how to ask your dreams for specific guidance and how to interpret the answer your psyche gives you. It can be the beginning of a new way of relating to yourself.

This workshop will cover

  • Understanding the significance of the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction and its influence on dreamwork

  • Techniques for setting powerful intentions for dream incubation

  • Exploring the symbolism and messages within your dreams

  • Practical tips for integrating dream insights into your waking life
