I chose to leave advertising in 2019 because I felt deeply disconnected from my work.

The big brands I worked with were just that: brands, impersonal, disconnected from their original purpose and creators, chasing more growth, more sales, more awards. I was deeply disillusioned with creative advertising and storytelling–until I saw it didn’t have to be that way.

Over the last three years, I discovered that advertising can feel like magic when working with conscious, purpose-driven people and their brands. People like you.

Where to begin:

Discovery call

We begin with a 30-minute complimentary introductory call to get to know each other, discuss your goals, and discover if I’m the right person to support you. I’ll talk you through my (unusual) process and we’ll agree on a timeline.

A personalised branding workshop

A 2-3 hour workshop to review your current branding and begin to unravel your authentic purpose, story, audience, and voice. I use my psychotherapeutic training to ensure that this is a relaxed process that encourages authenticity and creativity. On a case-by-case basis I may interview you and your team, challenge some of your beliefs, do exercises, perform tarot readings, use dreamwork, or lead you in visualisations to enrich my understanding of your brand.

Depending on where you are in your brand development, we might need further consultations to discover the call and purpose driving your work.

After the workshop, I take 2-3 weeks to do research, brainstorm, and put it all together.

Your brand-new brand book

Finally, there it is: your new creative strategy, beautifully presented in a brand book that articulates your brand story in a way that’s ready to share with your team, investors, or collaborators. You will receive a PDF including:

  • instructions on how to use these guidelines;

  • your brand strategy;

  • your mission, vision, and values;

  • a brand manifesto;

  • tone of voice;

  • editorial guidelines for blog/social media.

Why work with me?

I spent ten years working for some of the most creative and awarded advertising agencies in Bucharest and London, for brands like Coca-Cola, British Airways, Dove, British Gas, KFC, and Vauxhall. I also worked on less sparkly brands like satellite service providers, insurance companies, and car parts manufacturers. And now I’m a trainee therapist.

Simply said, I have a lot of experience, training, and passion for getting to know people really well and turning their problems into opportunities for growth.

And I’m a damn good writer too.

It strikes the impossible balance of being economical, practical, and efficient in communicating your message, while also inspiring and delighting your audience. It also involves bearing the pain of doubting you were ever any good at writing despite having done it for 13 years, but let me worry about that one.

Brand activation: putting yourself out there

You’ve got your website, your emailing list, and your social media strategy–and now you’d like to share your message in a more creative way that helps you reach even more people. Perhaps you want to create something that’s never been done before, you want to support a cause, or you want to expand your story through other media. This is your chance to shine.

In our brand activation package, we begin with a creative brief that outlines your goals, audience, and budget. Based on this, I will come back with 2-3 creative ideas that answer your brief meaningfully. This may be a unique product, an event, a collaboration, a print product or different media. From there, we choose one route and we make it happen.

Campaign: launching a product or service

What if you’re further along on your brand journey and only need help promoting a new product, course, podcast, or service?

A campaign gives you reach across multiple relevant media, all under the same creative idea. During the process, we will focus on finding out what’s truly unique about your product and allowing that to inspire our strategy and 2-3 creative routes. Think of these as different ways of telling your product story for your audience, then tactically adapting the story for each medium.

A campaign may involve partnerships, video ads on relevant social media platforms, brand activations, press releases, print materials, an email marketing strategy, social media content, and much more. The sky is the limit! (as well as your budget, of course)
