Initiation

An 8-week dream group to navigate the end of an era and the start of what’s to come.

This dream group takes place during a rare and potent threshold: a time of eclipses, deep endings, and new beginnings, as winter gives way to spring and one cycle of life closes so another can begin.

Across cultures, such moments are understood as initiatory: periods when an old identity is shed and something unknown begins to stir underground. Dreams often intensify at times like this, carrying images of death and rebirth, loss and renewal, confusion and revelation.

In this group, we’ll let our dreams guide us through this once-in-a-lifetime tran, listening for what is falling away and what is quietly asking to be born. This is a space for those sensing that something important is changing, both within themselves and the world at large, even if it cannot yet be clearly articulated.

What is a Dream Circle?

Dream groups are immersive experiences designed to help you reconnect with your inner world and explore the profound wisdom that dreams offer.

In a safe, intimate group of 4-5 people, we’ll delve deep into dream analysis, blending it with experiential techniques like art therapy, movement, voice, and play.

No prior knowledge of dreamwork is needed—just bring your curiosity and a desire to explore new parts of yourself alongside fellow open-minded people.

Why join

  • Gain insight into what's currently calling for your attention in your inner work, understand the patterns you keep repeating and how to begin resolving them, unblock your creativity, and discover who you truly are.

  • Experiment with different dreamwork techniques you can apply on your own and learn how to tap into a wealth of inner knowledge that is available to you every night through dreams.

  • Become part of an intimate group that offers deep connection, support, and friendship while reclaiming your attention, imagination in a world filled with distractions.

Who this is for

This dream circle is beginner-friendly*, so whether you're just starting out with dreamwork or looking to deepen your practice, you’re in the right place.

*Participants who are currently in therapy or have had a good amount of therapy in the past will be favoured in the application process. Dreamwork can be a powerful practice and it works best when we’ve already developed a good level of self-reflection and safety with ourselves.

Learn at your pace

Our sessions emphasise collaboration, safety, and creativity. We’ll use a mix of modalities, from more conventional dream analysis and archetypal amplification to experiential techniques like art, embodiment, and voice work, depending on the group’s needs. This means that you will have the opportunity to experiment with different techniques and discover what works best for you.

And if you're looking to study dreamwork in more depth, the Dreamwork Circle Class Library features over 35 hours of recorded classes, including an introduction to dreamwork, alchemy, fairy tales, and so much more.

A typical dream circle

Each session begins with a short meditation, a group check-in, and a demonstration or introduction of a new technique, followed by the exploration of 3 dreams for approximately 30 minutes per dream. At times, a dream may require more time and attention, which may be allowed with the group’s permission.

Due to the small size of the group, each participant can expect their dreams to be worked with multiple times, allowing themes to deepen and unfold across the group process. Even when it isn’t your turn to share, working with others’ dreams often brings unexpected insight, as common themes and images begin to echo across the group.

What former participants say…

  • Joining the 8 week dream circle helped me gain a renewed attunement, dedication and commitment to my dream practice. I appreciated the shared wisdom from the participants, particularly the ‘if this was my dream’ sharing. It was an intimate gathering of sensitive, open-minded, reflective, (funny!) and curious people, the atmosphere was always friendly.

    Daniel

  • I really can’t recommend this experience enough. Maria held a really warm and secure container that came alive with our shared dreams and insights, and the circle really became its own living, dreaming entity. I am so grateful for the insights I gained and the connections made through such meaningful and oftentimes vulnerable work, and feel inspired and excited at the end of it all.

    Orlaith

  • Taking part in the Dream Circle was a transformative experience. I gained a much deeper relationship with my dreams and how to work with them, which is something I will be forever grateful for. Maria is a fantastic facilitator and the group dynamic is magical. I would also highly recommend accessing the Library as all the information there was so enriching for diving deeper into dream work.

About your facilitator

I’ve been running weekly dream groups for over two years. During this time, I’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t, and I continue to evolve as a practitioner.

I bring a grounded, structured approach to every dream circle, holding the frame of the group regarding confidentiality, safety, and compassion. My role is to guide you, inspire you to be more curious about your dreams and each other, and to ensure that everyone gets space in the group.

Although I’m rooted in a Jungian perspective, I don’t believe there’s only one way of working with dreams effectively. Therefore, I encourage analysis as much as I invite an open mind to experimental ways of working with dreams through embodiment, art, expression, divination.

  • No prior experience is needed. This dream circle is beginner-friendly, and I will guide you through various techniques for exploring and understanding your dreams. You’ll also have access to the dreamwork library if you choose the Library Access tier, where you can study over 35 hours of classes at your own pace.

  • Absolutely. The Class Library contains over 35 hours of recorded classes, which you can watch at your own pace during the 8 weeks (access ends when the dream group finishes). You'll get to learn about dreamwork in general, as well as the alchemy of dreams, specific myths and fairy tales and their connection to dreams, and how to work with specific dream themes like animals, children, the body, the natural world etc.

  • If the group wants to continue, there's a possibility to continue for another 8 weeks after a short break. Otherwise, participants who wish to continue in a new dream group will be given priority on the following group I offer.

  • That’s perfectly okay. Dream recall can fluctuate for many reasons. In the circle, we’ll explore techniques to enhance dream recall, but even if you don’t remember specific dreams, we can still work with images or on other dreams that come up in the group. Plus, being part of a dream group will likely encourage dream recall, as you're intentionally creating space for your dreams.

  • The group will primarily work with the Ullman method, which encourages each participant to imagine the shared dream as if it were theirs. This technique is ideal for new groups and is very easy to understand. It also allows for participants to share insights in a safe, non-judgemental way with the dreamer. We’ll also explore a mix of analytical and experiential approaches to dream interpretation, including traditional analysis, working with symbols, archetypal imagery, and more interactive methods like art therapy, movement, and play to bring the dream to life.

  • In your private 1:1 session, we’ll work deeply on one or more dreams that feel particularly significant to you. This time is dedicated entirely to your process and can help you gain further insights into a dream’s meaning within a more private and intimate container. This is also a fantastic opportunity to experience dream re-entry, guided by me.

  • Absolutely! It’s completely normal to feel a bit nervous about sharing your dreams, especially in a group setting. Rest assured, the circle is a safe, supportive, and confidential space where everyone is encouraged to share only what they feel comfortable with. You're encouraged to take your time and participate at your own pace.
